We are now seeking an ophthalmologist for a well-functioning and development-oriented clinic in southwestern Sweden. About the Clinic: The clinic offers modern eye care for patients of all ages. Here you work in a competent and engaged team where you have access to up-to-date diagnostic and treatment equipment. You will have the opportunity to work broadly within ophthalmology, while also having room to specialize in specific areas. Areas of the clinic's operations: General ophthalmology Pediatric ophthalmology Treatment and follow-up of diabetic retinopathy Glaucoma follow-up and chronic eye care Neurological and inflammatory eye diseases Cataract evaluations and opportunity for cataract surgery for those with the appropriate qualifications The clinic is characterized by a good work environment, stable staffing, and structured collaboration among physicians, optometrists, nurses, and nursing assistants. Your Role: As a specialist physician in eye diseases, you will be responsible for: Assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients with various types of eye diseases Actively contributing to teamwork and collaboration with other professional groups Supervision of resident physicians Participation in developing the clinic's work methods and medical processes Requirements: Swedish specialist certification in ophthalmology At least two years of experience as a specialist Good ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written Why Work Here?
