Hellsten Gears is looking for you to join us as we expand our workshop (specialized in drivetrains) where we troubleshoot and assemble our products in customer vehicles.
About Hellsten Gears AB
Our product range consists of automatic and manual transmissions, transfer cases, and differentials for passenger cars and light trucks with combustion engines, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and electric vehicles.
Our customers appreciate that we are early to launch products (for new vehicles) and skilled at learning new products. We decide when our jobs should be finished, but it's important that we keep our promises.
To succeed, we need a competent team that also understands that we need to invest time in constantly developing our knowledge, collaboration skills, and positive atmosphere.
Our business is built on unique expertise that we gain through investigation, experimentation, learning from our mistakes, and, most importantly, listening and discussing with each other. If you like working with both your brain and hands, love solving problems, and are curious about how mechanics and electronics work together in modern vehicles – then you'll thrive with us.
About the Role
The position involves primarily working with customer vehicles that come into our workshop. You are expected to independently plan and carry out major repairs, such as transmission replacements.
If needed, training in transmission renovation and other parts of the vehicle's drivetrain may also be relevant.
Since we work in several different digital systems, good computer skills are an important part of the role. Training and experience with high-voltage systems in vehicles are advantageous.
