Nutritional Therapist / Nutritional Assistant

Description:

We are hiring a nutritional therapist or nutritional assistant for our food service department at a hospital to cover a leave of absence. Work in a single-shift operation (Mon - Fri 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). Development of meal plans and diet prescriptions including calculations of biological and energy values of meals, breakdown and standardization of ingredients for appropriate diets based on daily patient conditions. Professional counseling and education of patients, their families, and the public in the field of healthy and therapeutic nutrition. Supervision of adherence to technological procedures in food preparation and special diets, inspection of food preparation and distribution, compliance with hygiene standards, temperature control, quantity and proper food storage. Requirements: Higher vocational school or specialized secondary school diploma with professional qualification in the field according to Act No. 96/2004 Coll. as a nutritional therapist or nutritional assistant. Independence, responsibility, reliability and ability to work as a team member, organizational skills, communication skills. Health fitness and criminal record clearance. Temporary replacement position, full-time, 10th salary grade / therapist, 8th salary grade / assistant.
