WORK TASKS The best part about working as a nurse at a health center is getting to meet patients of all ages and life situations. We see children, adults, and elderly who need advice or care. Some we see very rarely and others more regularly. We work from both a health promotion and disease prevention perspective, but also with acute symptoms. Your work tasks will include telephone advice, appointment scheduling, and reception work. If you are interested, there are good opportunities to specialize in some of our specialist clinics based on your competence, experience, and interests. As a nurse in primary care, you will also contribute your expertise at our on-call doctor center. We are there for our residents, on weekends and weekdays after 5 p.m. Many of us share the responsibility, and we offer you special introduction training for the on-call doctor center, all so that you feel secure and can develop in your role. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a district nurse or licensed nurse, preferably with experience from health centers or clinic work. For those who are nurses, there are opportunities for further education. We consider it a merit if you have training and previous experience in diabetes care. At the same time, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. To thrive at Lenhovda Health Center, you need, just as we do, to value friendly treatment and high competence.
