Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is practically minded – perhaps a bit of a "technical jack-of-all-trades" – who enjoys varied work days.
Requirements for the role:
• Several years of experience as, for example, an installation technician, network technician, broadband technician, fiber technician, or equivalent role
• Swedish fluency in speaking and writing
• Class B driver's license
NOTE: D.ON works with critical infrastructure. You may be required to undergo a security vetting process. Extracts from the criminal record registry and credit checks may be necessary with your consent, according to the respective customer's security requirements.
Meritorious qualifications
• Certification in Robust Fiber or similar
• Electrical knowledge / low-voltage systems
• Experience with fire alarms, access control, or security systems
• English language skills

• Organized – works safely, maintains neat cable routes, and documents thoroughly
• Solution-oriented – finds ways forward and takes ownership of deliverables
About the role – Network and Installation Technician
In this role, you will work on the installation, service, and maintenance of network infrastructure for customers. The assignments vary and can range from smaller installations to larger projects, often working alongside a colleague.
Examples of work tasks
• Fiber and data cable routing
• Termination, terminating, and measurement
• Equipment installation in buildings and data centers
• Cross-connection and network setup
• Documentation, self-inspections, and measurement reports for customers
• Service and maintenance of existing networks
Work takes place primarily in Stockholm, but also throughout Sweden and occasionally in the Nordic region. Overnight stays occur to a limited extent.
