First contact: by email or phone Job duties: custom, small-batch production of semi-finished precision dies and punches, work primarily on conventional surface grinding machines, as needed work on conventional milling machines, lathes, and band saws, machining according to technical documentation, inspection of dimensions and quality of manufactured parts. Position with opportunity for gradual training under the supervision of an experienced tool and die maker. Requirements: apprenticeship training in mechanical engineering, practical experience, experience working with conventional machining equipment, ability to read and understand technical documentation, attention to detail and precision, responsible approach, manual dexterity and care, age not a factor
