Tibro Municipality seeks an authority case manager for our team at the authority unit, who wants to contribute with their experience and knowledge in work with children and youth. The Social Administration has for some time developed stronger collaboration for children and youth with, among others, schools, police and leisure activities. In collaboration with the Children and Education Administration, there is a school social work team to offer early interventions. WORK TASKS Our target group is children and youth and their families who need support under applicable legislation. The work includes meetings with children/youth and guardians, as well as collaboration with health care, schools and other authorities. We actively work with sustainable solutions with our families with internal and external collaboration partners. The work consists of investigating, assessing and deciding as well as following up measures according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Young People (LVU). Each case manager has responsibility for their own cases and has close support from their coordinator. You will be part of a team led by a coordinator and consisting of five authority case managers with investigation responsibility, a child secretary and a foster care secretary. Within the unit there are system administrators who provide support in our operations system Lifecare. We offer internal and external supervision regularly. We are now making a major initiative to work with AI as documentation support linked to our operations system, which we implemented in the spring. QUALIFICATIONS We seek you who have a degree as a social worker. The position as authority case manager requires good knowledge of applicable legislation and application within the social services field (SoL), the Act on Care of Young People (LVU). You express yourself well in speech and writing, have good knowledge of the legislation and can work independently within the framework of authority practice. It is meritorious if you have previous experience of case handling within the social services authority practice, as well as knowledge and experience of working with BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus) and Lifecare. As a case manager, you see solutions and contribute with positive energy in a fast-paced and complex profession. In the work as an authority case manager, you should be confident in your professional role and be able to meet people in need of social services support and assistance in a clear and trustworthy manner.
