Description Would you like to help develop instruction for students at Lövgärdesskolan? Then this is an assignment for you! Lövgärdesskolan is located in northern Angered surrounded by beautiful nature. Students from grades 4 through 9 attend the school. The school is part of the Lövgärdets center, with good access to transportation. The school is situated near the scenic Vättlefjäll area, which offers opportunities for outdoor activities and using nature in instruction. We are a school with approximately 330 students. We strive to continuously develop our operations, always with student learning and knowledge development in focus. In our daily work, we maintain close collaboration with other stakeholders: public, private, and civil society organizations. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a music teacher for instruction in grade 4 and an SU-group at 20% for the remainder of school year 26/27. Your work will be distributed over one day per week when the regular teacher is on study leave. You will work in a team together with additional teachers and student assistants. You will work closely with the regular teacher and plan instruction jointly. Since our school is located in a socioeconomically disadvantaged area, it is particularly important that you have a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities this entails, as well as a strong commitment to the school's compensatory mission, equitable education, and students' right to the best possible conditions for learning and development. As a newly graduated teacher, you will participate in the Elementary School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction program for newly qualified teachers. This introduction provides you with a network of other newly qualified teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher. Qualifications We are seeking someone who is a certified teacher and holds a teaching degree to teach music for grades 4–6/4-9. Experience with pedagogical work in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas is a merit. It is also a merit if you have previous experience teaching in an SU-group. As a person, you are energized by contributing to others' learning and you create conditions for learning to take place. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different audiences and from different perspectives. You are skilled at building enthusiasm and engagement among both your colleagues and students.
