We use various teaching methods based on different perspectives, which means the individual is at the center of focus. Teaching should be adapted to each student's needs and development. You will be part of a team at Adapted School that will shape and develop the program and lay a good foundation for student development. Our development areas include accessible learning environments, and grading and assessment. An important part of the work is developing the social climate so that all students feel good and enjoy being in the group. The position includes all aspects of music instruction, from developing ideas and planning work to creating and evaluating lessons. You will conduct lessons, maintain pedagogical documentation, conduct assessments, and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where all students feel seen. Who Are We Looking For? We are seeking someone who - is a qualified teacher with a teaching degree and teaching certification - is trained as a special education teacher for intellectual disabilities - has experience in pedagogical work - is qualified to teach music - works based on science and proven experience to create good learning environments (didactic, emotional, and physical) - has a positive approach to IT as a natural tool in both pedagogy and documentation - is well familiar with LGR 22 and has knowledge of language development teaching methods. It is a merit if you have experience teaching students in adapted schools. As a person, you are responsive to student needs, clear, respectful, and have great ability to collaborate with both our students, parents, and colleagues. You enjoy collaborating with your colleagues, both within your subject and across subject boundaries. Your work is grounded in great commitment where you are proactive and want to help develop our school. You plan, organize, and prioritize effectively and ensure that all processes are completed with high quality.
