BAE Systems Bofors now needs to strengthen its assembly department with several new employees. The work is scheduled for daytime hours. Job Responsibilities - The position involves group assembly and/or final assembly of our guns and subsystems where you handle assembly of mechanics and hydraulics. - Support with final inspection and service prior to delivery is also a natural part of the position. - The work involves internal contacts and collaboration with product area support functions in production as well as with engineers from the development department. Qualifications - The work requires high proficiency in reading technical drawings and the ability to understand complex instructions. Previous documented experience in one of the competency areas of mechanics or hydraulics is desirable. - We are primarily seeking people with experience in mechanical work in some form, such as automotive mechanics, vehicle mechanics, or repairers. - We would like to see experience with LEAN methodology and it is important that you are practically minded, have good teamwork skills, and a technical interest. Good knowledge of Swedish is a requirement and we would like to see knowledge of our group language English. You have generally good computer skills and knowledge of Office applications.
