About the Position
Would you like to work on varied projects where you can combine shop work with on-site assembly at construction sites? This is initially a staffing assignment through Ikett with excellent opportunities for conversion to permanent employment with the client after 6 months.
About the Position
As an assembly technician, you will work on manufacturing, preparation, and assembly of steel structures. Your work will be divided between the company's workshop and client project sites, where you will collaborate with colleagues to assemble and complete structures on location. The company is well-established in Vänersborg municipality and specializes in manufacturing and assembling steel structures for building and industrial projects.
This position suits you if you appreciate variety in your daily work and enjoy seeing projects develop from manufacturing through to final installation. Most projects are local, meaning you will operate from the company's workshop.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience in assembly work in construction, steel fabrication, or similar fields. You are accustomed to working practically on job sites and feel confident reading blueprints and collaborating with others to move projects forward.
You do not need a background as a welder, but experience in sheet metal, steel, or workshop work is a plus. We would like to see prior experience working as, for example, a sheet metal worker, technician, construction worker, or carpenter with assembly experience.
Requirements
• Experience with assembly work on construction sites
• Experience reading blueprints
• Driver's license (Category B)
• Fluent Swedish (verbal and written)
Desirable Qualifications
• Experience in sheet metal or steel fabrication
• Workshop experience
• Welding skills
• Forklift or overhead crane certification
Work Schedule: Day shift
Start Date: By agreement
