About the Position
Language Center is seeking an engaged and inspiring Finnish teacher for Kävlinge's primary schools! As a native language teacher, you will plan, teach, and assess students according to the curriculum in the subject of native language. We are looking for someone who can work with language development according to the latest research and conducts modern and creative teaching to reach every student. You adapt your teaching based on all students at their level and always with the student's best interests in focus. In your work, you have good leadership and use alternative teaching tools. Good relationships with students and guardians are important to you, and through dialogue and mutual respect, you are a link between home and school.
Are You the One We're Looking For?
First and foremost, we are looking for you who are a certified native language teacher with at least 30 hp in the native language. It is a merit if you have previously worked as a native language teacher. The position requires you to have good IT skills and that you can integrate digital technology in your teaching. In your work, you are positive and engaged, have good collaboration skills, and feel comfortable communicating both verbally and in writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A driver's license and access to your own car is a big plus.

You will also need to present a passport or national ID card issued by police at the interview.
Language Center in Kävlinge consists of the unit for Native Language and School Introduction, where assessment of newly arrived students is conducted.

We are convinced that all students can achieve good results with the right conditions, and the native language is great support for the student's language development and learning in all school subjects.
In Kävlinge Municipality, there are eleven primary schools that we work together with. At Language Center, we work with both native language instruction and study support as needed.
Language Center is located at Brynstenen, which is in Löddeköpinge.
