Production Manager for Carpentry Workshop (m/f)

Your main task will be to ensure smooth and efficient production that delivers furniture on time and to the required quality according to technical drawings, so our customers keep coming back to us. Smooth and efficient operations: You will ensure machines don't stop, materials are prepared on time, and production runs without unnecessary downtime or errors (no wasted time or money). Quality guarantee: You will oversee that every piece of furniture meets the drawings and prevent complaints. Defect rates will be under your close scrutiny. Team leadership: You will fairly distribute daily tasks, motivate carpenters, and solve problems operatively right on the floor. Economics and safety: efficiency, workshop cleanliness, machine maintenance, and adherence to workplace safety. For this job you need: Proven results: You have successful hands-on experience in the field (carpentry/furniture making) and experience leading teams. Common sense and drive: ability to think contextually, not wait for instructions, but actively seek and propose solutions to problems. Planning, attention to detail, and follow-through: You can plan activities for yourself and your team and verify that the work is truly and properly completed. Technical orientation: You can read technical drawings and cutting plans. Directness and responsibility: You are honest, communicative, and can take 100% responsibility for the operation of your assigned area. You can push your ideas and proposals with both workers and supervisors. You can bridge production and company management. We're looking for a person of action! However, if you like postponing cleaning until Friday afternoon or starting production without clear instructions thinking "we'll figure it out somehow," this job won't be for you.
