Personal assistant for an energetic 9-year-old boy. About the Job I'm expanding my team and need more available assistants! I'm an energetic boy who needs someone willing to work varied hours, both days and awake nights with me. My disability is comprehensive and I need help with many things like eating and moving around. My favorite song is "The Wheels on the Bus" and I love listening to it all the time. Despite my age, I'm younger in my development, and I'm a kind boy who needs closeness. My assistants are part of the family, and it's important that we all feel comfortable together so things work out as well as possible for everyone involved. The Role To work with me, you need to have some work experience. It's a plus if you have experience with tube feeding, epilepsy, and other work with people with disabilities. Right now I'm looking for someone who can work on a night shift. You should ideally be confident in yourself so we can click well. My parents are always home, so even though there's a lot of responsibility with me, the parents are always available if anything comes up. As a person, anyone working with me needs to be attentive, responsible, patient, and have a positive attitude. We live 1.5 miles outside Umeå, so access to a car is preferred, but not required since there are buses near the home. There's a dog in the home, so if you're allergic, this job isn't right for you.
