Within the Environment business area, AFRY offers qualified consulting services in contaminated sites as well as environment and sustainability. In Malmö, AFRY currently has a large section working with notification and permit matters, water and air investigations, environmental impact assessments, environmental investigations, environmental technical soil investigations, environmental audits, risk assessments, sustainability, audits, environmental management, and quality management. Our customer base is broad, with clients in the private as well as municipal and government sectors. This is the section we want to further develop in Karlskrona as well. We are looking for you as an experienced environmental consultant in contaminated sites. As part of our team, you will play a central role in leading assignments and developing our services. Examples of work areas include: Project management Environmental technical soil investigations Risk assessments Historical inventories and EDD Remedial investigations Remediation measures and environmental audits Commercial awareness is important, and you will work on assignments from the bidding phase through implementation and reporting. We value your ability to analyze complex situations and your experience managing projects from start to finish. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues both locally and nationally in the field to help create sustainable environmental solutions. You will also be involved in training and developing junior colleagues. To succeed and thrive in your role as an experienced environmental consultant, we are looking for someone who has: At least 3 years of experience working with contaminated sites. Experience in consulting work and working as a project/assignment manager. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Post-secondary education, either an academic natural science/technical education (civil/bachelor engineer) with a completed degree in environmental engineering, chemistry, geology, ecosystem engineering, or equivalent fields within the environmental area. Class B driver's license. It is advantageous, but not required, if you also have experience in any of the areas PFAS, sediment, water quality, main studies, remedial investigations, or in-depth risk assessments.
