We are seeking a temporary replacement who wants to be part of our team at the Building and Environment Unit in Årjäng. The Building and Environment Unit is part of the Community Development Department where we enjoy our work and have strong team cohesion and a pleasant work environment. We hope you will become one of us! 1 position(s). WORK TASKS The work involves public authority duties, primarily under the Environmental Code. In your role as an environment and health protection inspector, you will perform inspections, make delegated decisions, and prepare decision-making materials for the Building and Environment Committee, as well as provide information, guidance, and advice to both the public and businesses. We collaborate with other authorities and are part of, among other things, Environmental Cooperation Värmland and Örebro County. Within environmental protection, work tasks involve inspection of environmentally hazardous activities such as workshops, industries, and gas stations. Within health protection, the work involves inspection of various facilities and premises such as schools and preschools, multi-family residential buildings, indoor environments, and swimming pools. An important part of the work is also handling permit issues related to individual wastewater treatment systems. It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience of current legislation.
