About the Position
We are seeking a process engineer for our client in Eskilstuna. Do you have a vehicle technology background and want to take the next step in your career? This could be for you. The role involves identifying and developing various methods for service and repairs together with technical writers. You ensure the product is serviced efficiently, safely, and sustainably throughout its lifecycle. Your days will be varied—one day you might be working on a prototype, and the next you could be proofreading documentation. We are looking for someone with an understanding of how heavy vehicles work and can think from a mechanic's perspective.

Start date is by agreement. You will work as a consultant through Cleverex Bemanning. After that, it may be possible to be hired directly by the client.

Responsibilities
As a process engineer, you will be responsible for developing and quality-assuring methods and instructions for service and maintenance of heavy vehicles and machinery. The work involves collecting data, conducting method studies, verifying work steps, and assessing technical time requirements. The role involves many contact points, both internally and externally. You will also:
• Develop and improve service and repair methods and instructions for the aftermarket.
• Support product development projects with expertise in serviceability and maintenance.
• Plan and conduct development of service procedures and time studies.
• Design and validate special tools and workshop solutions.
• Collaborate with technical writers to ensure correct and high-quality service documentation.
• Drive new working methods by exploring and implementing digital technology such as AI, VR, and other innovative solutions.
• Work closely with design engineers, product specialists, and other stakeholders within the organization.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who:
• Has practical experience working with heavy vehicles, construction equipment, or similar.
• Has higher education in mechanical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong technical understanding and interest in developing efficient service solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
• A structured and analytical approach to work.
• Class B driver's license.
Desirable qualifications:
• CAD and/or PDM systems experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical and electronic systems.
• Experience with engines, transmissions, or other drivetrain components.
• Service development, workshop operations, or technical documentation experience.
