What Does the Job Involve?
Days are varied with a great opportunity to contribute to people's quality of life. You support, help with practical matters, and provide service based on the client's needs and wishes. The most important thing is that you enjoy building relationships and are good with people.
What Background Do I Need?
For some, this might be a great opportunity to get a first job; for others, it's about being tired of their current industry and wanting to do something meaningful; and for others, it might be a desire to continue in care but change employers. There's no one formula – we recruit people who have a solution-focused approach, empathetic values, and want to grow with us.
Does It Really Not Matter If I Have Relevant Experience?
Of course it's positive if you've worked in care/health services and done well! Education as a nursing assistant or equivalent is also a merit, but not a requirement.
Isn't Working in Home Care Really Tough?
It absolutely can be, and that's how the development looks within care and health services in general. That was actually one of the reasons we started in 2013 – with a conviction that we can do things a bit differently and continuously improve our operations with a focus on those we're here for – the elderly. And how do you do that? By taking care of your staff, of course. That's why it feels extra good that we got 9 out of 10 in pride about working at Aleva and 9.5 out of 10 on the question of whether our customers would recommend us to a friend.
