We are now seeking a Mechatronics Engineer who wants to take broad technical responsibility for the interaction between motor control, electronics, wiring, software, and mechanical solutions in our product development projects. The role has been created as part of an upcoming generational transition, where important technical knowledge needs to be secured, developed, and passed on to the future organization. You step into a key role with the opportunity to build deep product understanding and gradually take ownership of critical technical interfaces and supplier relationships. About the Role As a Mechatronics Engineer, you will have a central role in developing and maintaining technical system solutions where motors and their control, embedded systems, and wiring must work together with mechanics. You work close to the product and are responsible for ensuring that technical solutions are robust, well-documented, and aligned with both customer needs and production requirements. A major part of the role is to serve as the technical link between internal functions and external suppliers. You are responsible for supplier contacts in your technical area, follow up on technical issues, ensure clear communication, and maintain the documentation needed throughout the product's lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Take technical responsibility for mechatronic system solutions encompassing motors, electronics, wiring, software, and mechanical integration Work with motor control solutions and ensure that control functions are integrated into the overall product system Manage technical interfaces between electronics, wiring, software, mechanics, and suppliers Be responsible for supplier contacts in your technical area, including technical follow-up, specifications, clarifications, and change discussions Create, maintain, and update technical documentation, specifications, drawings, requirements, and supporting product information Support troubleshooting, verification, validation, and continuous improvements related to mechatronic systems Collaborate closely with product development, production, procurement, quality, and project management Your Background We are seeking someone with a strong background in mechatronics and a genuine interest in how technical subsystems interact in a complete product. You likely have experience from product development, system integration, or technical responsibility for products where electronics, mechanics, software, and suppliers are closely interconnected. University degree or equivalent education in mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation, mechanical engineering with focus on mechatronics, or related field Experience with motor control, electronics and wiring, or technical solutions related to embedded systems/software Good understanding of how mechanics, electronics, software, and control functions interact in a product It is meriting if you also have: Experience with software programming Experience in assistive technology, automation, or other regulated/quality-controlled product environments Knowledge of requirements management, verification, validation, or technical product documentation Experience working close to production and supporting technical problem-solving in manufacturing environments Experience with supplier dialogue, technical specifications, documentation, or change management Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we believe you are structured, technically curious, and confident in taking ownership in a role with many contact points.
