About the Position
Ikett is seeking a mechanical assembler or machine assembler for our client outside Ystad!
We're looking for someone who enjoys practical work and has a genuine interest in mechanics and technology.
In this role, you will primarily work with mechanical assembly and build machines and equipment according to drawings.
Therefore, you need to be able to read and understand mechanical drawings and feel comfortable working independently.
Welding and repair work may also occur. The role also includes forklift operation.
The work is varied and you may also assist other departments when needed.
We're therefore looking for someone who is flexible, solution-oriented, and willing to pitch in where necessary.
For the right person, there may also be opportunities for travel and on-site installation as part of the role.
The amount of travel can be adjusted to some extent based on your interests and preferences.

Your Profile
For this position, we're looking for someone who:
- Has experience with mechanical assembly or machine assembly
- Can read mechanical drawings
- Is practically minded and enjoys problem-solving
- Is thorough yet flexible
- Enjoys collaborating and helping where needed
- Has an interest in machines, technology, and mechanics
- Holds a forklift certificate
- Has experience or knowledge in welding
