We are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for Etteplan in Västerås. About the Position As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of Etteplan's experienced team in Västerås and work on long-term projects with some of the region's leading industrial companies. The assignments vary but often focus on large welded structures and technically complex solutions in areas such as energy, power, and heavy industry. Here you will work on projects where quality, safety, and well-thought-out design solutions are paramount. Etteplan has many established customers in the region and is simultaneously in a growth phase where the team wants to expand its operations further. This means you will have the opportunity to work with different customers and technical environments over time. Assignments typically range from 6 to 24 months, creating both variety and the opportunity to become a long-term part of projects. What We're Looking For You have a university or master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechanics, or equivalent technical education You have several years of relevant experience in mechanical design You have experience with large welded structures, heavy structures, or similar technically complex products You have good experience with one or more design tools You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have experience from fields such as energy, power, rail, heavy industry, or other sectors where high demands are placed on design, quality, and documentation.
