Mechanic at Volvo Trucks in Tuve Now there is an opportunity to work in a varied and technical role where quality, problem-solving and collaboration are in focus. Apply for the mechanic position with us at the Tuve factory! For our factory in Tuve, we are now seeking mechanics for our adjustment department. In this role, you will work with adjusting and building trucks after regular production and perform customer customizations in post-assembly. The work also includes addressing reported errors and completing missing or incomplete material. We offer a development role in an engaged operation where you have the opportunity to work close to the product and contribute to high quality in the final result. Your working hours will be during daytime 06:42 – 15:48 or evening 15:48 – 00:42. Responsibilities • Adjustment and completion of vehicles in post-production • Customer customizations and post-assembly of trucks • Address reported errors and deviations • Work according to assembly instructions and drawings/sprints • Collaboration with colleagues and other departments We believe you are a quick learner, flexible and have good collaboration skills. You thrive in a practical environment and enjoy working with a solution-oriented mindset. Qualifications • B driver's license • Approved secondary school grades in core subjects Swedish 1, English 5 and Mathematics A • Minimum 1 year of experience working in production, industry, or workshop • Good machine and tool skills • Good ability to interpret assembly instructions and read drawings/sprints • Good product knowledge with knowledge of vehicles • Meriting if you have a C license and training as a mechanic We offer a development role in an engaged operation where you have the opportunity to work close to the product and contribute to high quality in the final result together with other colleagues at the Tuve factory.
