Kålvik's Shipyard is a full-service shipyard located on western Orust, and we offer winter storage with associated services. We work in a fantastic work environment, mostly indoors in winter and plenty of dock work in summer. The person we are looking for should be a good colleague, have good communication skills, be flexible, service-oriented, and have the drive to solve projects and problems that arise on your own initiative. Efficiency and accuracy are paramount, which is why it is of great importance that you have a sense of responsibility and high work ethic. The role as mechanic/technician offers a lot of mechanical work and repairs. The daily challenges include various types of both simple and more complex service assignments, troubleshooting and repair work on engines/boats etc., and the work sometimes also includes rebuilding and new installation of equipment in the boats. Therefore, you will be an important part of the team and the shipyard!
