Hörselrehab Stockholm is a newly opened operation within Stockholms läns sjukvårdsområde (SLSO) with a mandate to provide high-quality hearing rehabilitation. The clinic will open in January 2027 and is located on S:t Göransgatan on Kungsholmen in newly renovated premises. We are seeking a Medical Director Audiologist who wants to combine clinical work with systematic quality improvement. You will have medical responsibility for ensuring the operation works in accordance with primary hearing rehabilitation guidelines. Your main areas of responsibility: As an audiologist in primary hearing rehabilitation, you will work with the entire rehabilitation process, from initial visits with hearing assessments to fitting and evaluation of hearing aids and technical assistive devices. The work consists of both educational and technical interventions. As medical director, you will work closely with the operations manager on patient safety matters. You will develop procedures regarding patient safety and work processes. Together with the operations manager, you will assess and handle incident reports and propose improvement measures. You will annually author a patient safety report in collaboration with the operations manager. The role also includes supporting other audiologists in patient-related matters and introducing and mentoring new colleagues. The role of medical director audiologist may develop as the clinic expands. Employment Type Permanent employment as an audiologist with a fixed-term assignment as medical director, with possibility of extension Full-time. Probation may be applied. Qualifications Licensed audiologist Minimum 5 years of experience as an audiologist Meritorious if you have worked within Vårdval Primär hörselrehabilitering in Stockholm Personal Qualities You must have excellent knowledge of audiology and quality improvement work. You are structured, proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented. You have the ability to drive change and development in accordance with the assignment. You are comfortable working independently as well as in a team, and you enjoy being part of shaping and developing an operation together with others.
