The Endocrinology Clinic currently operates with a large part of Northeastern Skåne as its catchment area, offering comprehensive endocrinology and diabetology, multidisciplinary foot clinic, gestational diabetes, and obesity clinic services. The clinic currently has a competent medical foot care therapist who works with high independence and who will soon be retiring. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES Your responsibilities include: • Assess and treat diabetes-related foot ulcers. • Perform wound care and preventive foot examinations. • Collaborate with physicians, diabetes nurses, and other healthcare professionals. • Provide counseling and education to patients on self-care and risk minimization. • Document and follow up on treatment plans. QUALIFICATIONS • Certified foot therapist in medical foot care or equivalent education with experience in foot ulcers and diabetes. • Good knowledge of diabetes and its complications. • Experience in wound care and current treatment methods. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Dedicated, empathetic, and attentive in patient interactions.
