We are now seeking an engaged temporary worker for our sorting facility operations. You will work in a workplace with good camaraderie and varied tasks. Together at the facilities, approximately 8 employees and 10-18 contractors work as a team. The group is responsible for facility operations.

Both internal and external customers visit the facility. We work with an approach we call participatory improvement work. This means you participate in developing the facility's operations through active improvement initiatives based on drive and commitment from employees.
Your tasks will include both practical and administrative elements. You will be part of several processes, where each step is like a cog in a chain.
Duties:
Participate in developing facility operations through active improvement work.
Administrative work such as customer contact regarding incoming and outgoing inspections.
Waste inspections and wastewater treatment plant operation. Baling of wells and plastic.
Provide service and information to customers.
Perform maintenance and cleaning of all areas inside and surrounding the facilities, as well as minor maintenance work.
Perform work according to facility permits, operating procedures, objectives, and similar governing documents.
Forklift operation within the facilities, both indoors and outdoors.
The operation is part of the Recycling business area, and the workplace consists of a site manager, group leader, and technician.
The facility's operating hours are weekday daytime, but may occasionally include some evenings and weekends. The position is a 40-hour work week.
Your placement will be based in Högsbo in Gothenburg. It may also be relevant to support the sorting facility in Skräppekärr and transfer stations in Mölndal.
Qualifications
High school competence or equivalent.
• Basic IT skills.
• B-class driver's license required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
You have the ability to work both independently and in a team, are solution-oriented, thorough, and have a customer and service-focused approach. You must be able to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Since the work involves some physical labor, you need to be in very good physical condition. You have an interest in environmental issues and uphold and work according to Renova's principles: Holistic Perspective, Commitment, Together, and Responsibility.

Temporary position from 2026-11-01 - 2027-08-31
