JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking staff members for the Pedagogical Center. Do you want meaningful, challenging, and developmental work? Then you might be just who we're looking for! The Pedagogical Center is a newly started operation since January 2025. The operation includes a resource school, an emergency school, and a municipality-wide special education group. Our operation is for primary school students where regular school is not sufficient. We are now seeking staff members for our operation. Based on the operation's and students' needs as well as the applicant's competence, assignments and positions may be adapted. In this role, you work closely with students with extensive support needs and help create a safe, positive, and developmental environment. The work involves supporting students' learning, social development, and well-being in close collaboration with other professionals in the operation. You work with clarifying pedagogy, relationship-building initiatives, and individually adapted support. It may also involve managing challenging situations, supporting students in affect regulation, and working based on agreed strategies and approaches. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in social work, pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems relevant. For example, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, student assistant, or similar. We believe that you have good competence in NPF and experience working with people in need of special support. Experience in psychosocial work, preferably in social psychiatry, is a merit. You have good knowledge of conflict management, affect regulation, and low-affect approach, as well as the ability to work based on clear structure, predictability, and agreed action plans. As a person, you are confident, stable, and relationship-building. You have good cooperation skills, are flexible, and can maintain calm and professionalism even in challenging situations. You also have the ability to set and maintain clear boundaries and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike. Employment form: Permanent employment. To begin working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other pedagogical activities, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and is ordered from the Swedish Police Authority www.polisen.se.
