Press Kogyo is a successful manufacturing company with Japanese backing. We work with sheet metal with a thickness between 1.5 to 18 millimeters. We are world leaders in this field.
Our owner is the global Japanese conglomerate Press Kogyo, one of Japan's largest subcontractors, with factories in Japan, Thailand, USA, China, Indonesia, and Oskarshamn. We are a complete contract manufacturer of sheet metal components, adapted for small, medium, and large production runs.
In Oskarshamn, we employ 160 people and have annual revenue of approximately 500 million.
About the job
We are looking for team members for our various manufacturing departments.
Laser operators, welders, press operators, painting technicians, forklift drivers, and robot operators.
The work varies depending on the department but includes, among other things, monitoring machines and robots, material loading, post-processing, packing, quality inspections, and forklift operation. The work often means you have your own responsibility for your machine/position but receive support and guidance from your colleagues.
Personality profile
We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and organized. As a person, you are technically interested, a quick learner, and thorough. You are unpretentious, flexible, and have good collaboration skills.
