Job Description: As a Materials Engineer, you will support the company's various departments through laboratory testing and analysis. Your workdays will be diverse, encompassing everything from research on new materials and problem-solving to continuous improvement work and laboratory investigations within ongoing production. Beyond being an internal support function, you will also work closely with external customers, serving as a support contact to meet their needs and requirements. You will become part of a cohesive team of driven colleagues who constantly strive to deliver higher quality and better results through continuous improvement initiatives and a strong customer focus. Examples of Work Tasks: Conduct preparations and evaluations of liquids and other types of materials such as powders, plastics, or metallic materials for standard tests and research tests. Write technical reports and document results based on tests performed. Support process operators within surface treatment, test cells, or machine shops. Drive development work on test methods and technical studies. The assignment requires you to undergo a security interview and be approved according to applicable regulations. The assignment also entails requirements for certain citizenship. Who Are You? We are seeking someone with a degree in Chemical Engineering and experience with laboratory work. You also have professional experience working with standard equipment such as EDX, SEM, XRF, FT-IR and/or ICP as well as titration equipment and manual titrations. To succeed and thrive in the role of Materials Engineer, we believe you have strong analytical abilities and a high regard for safety—for yourself, the environment, and others. You are flexible and can quickly take on new tasks with tight deadlines. You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. What We Offer You: At AQ Engineering, you will become part of a growing organization that develops tomorrow's products in defense and aerospace, automotive, energy storage, and e-mobility. We believe in simplicity and entrepreneurship—solving complex challenges in a smart and straightforward way. Here you are encouraged to take your own initiative, test ideas in our prototype workshop, and drive your own work forward. As part of AQ Group, you collaborate with over 9,000 colleagues around the world and have access to AQ Group's over 50 factories. Competence development is something AQ cares deeply about, and we therefore invest in customized competence development plans for our employees. This gives you the opportunity to grow within your area, broaden your competence base, and prepare you for future challenges.
