Equipment Rental Technician

Ståhls Maskinuthyrning & Järnhandel is seeking an Equipment Rental Technician who wants to take full responsibility for our machines and ensure that our rental operations run smoothly. You will work in a family-owned company where you ensure we have the right machines available, that they are in good condition, and that everything is ready for the next customer. You will also operate a truck for machine transport. Since we also operate an iron hardware store and workshop, you need to be prepared to work across different departments. You will also contribute by providing excellent customer service and assisting our customers in a professional manner. Key Responsibilities Responsible for machine preparation and inspection before and after rental (checks, cleaning, preparation) Receive returned machines and conduct thorough inspections to identify any damage or discrepancies Plan and organize your daily work and tasks independently Prepare quotations and documentation for machine upgrades and new equipment investments Assist with customer relations related to the iron hardware store as needed Requirements B-class and C-class driver's license Metticulous, responsible, and organized Strong computer skills and experience working with systems and handling calculations/quotations Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering quality work Desirable Qualifications Experience in equipment rental, service, or similar work Forklift certification (Classes A, B, C) Lift certification (Mobile elevated work platform training) Employment starts as soon as we find the right person.
