About Us
Habia Teknofluor AB is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of fluoroplastic hose, high-pressure hose, and processed PTFE components. Our customer base consists of major international companies such as Hitachi, Tetra Pak, Parker, and ContiTech, with the majority of products delivered outside Sweden. The business was founded in 1954 and has been part of Smiths Group since 2019 under the Flex-Tek division. Smiths Group employs over 16,000 employees in over 50 countries. At Habia Teknofluor, approximately 60 people currently work in the expanding Knivsta facility, located between Arlanda and Uppsala.
About the Role
As a machine operator, you are responsible for your production line from start to finish. The work involves starting up and adjusting the machine, loading material, monitoring the process continuously, and ensuring that production runs smoothly. The role also includes quality control, addressing minor operational issues, and ensuring that routines and safety requirements are followed.
Who Are You?
We are looking for positive and collaborative people who are at least 18 years old, as certain tasks require this according to the collective agreement. You need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. In addition, you should be comfortable working a two-shift schedule, which means you'll work mornings one week and afternoons the next week.
Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is a merit, as is an interest in technology. If you have CNC training or experience, that's also a merit—please mention it in your application.
A driver's license is advantageous as there are not very good public transportation connections to the workplace.
