Are you technically interested and want to develop within industry? We are now looking for a machine operator for our client in Hofors. Here you will work in a production environment with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, while having the opportunity to develop and grow within the operation.
About the Position
As a machine operator, you will primarily work with a manual lathe where you process parts according to drawings and work instructions. You will be part of the production team and be responsible for ensuring that work is performed with high quality and according to established requirements.
The processing includes larger parts where weight can vary from approximately 100 kg up to 5 tons, which means you will be working with robust and varied components.
You are also responsible for following safety procedures, maintaining order in your work area, and contributing to stable and efficient production.
The position is full-time with working hours scheduled in 2 shifts.
For the right person, there are good opportunities to develop within the operation. In the long term, you may have the opportunity to learn additional machines and work in other parts of production.
About You
You are structured, thorough, and solution-oriented. You enjoy practical work and have a strong focus on quality and safety. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, as well as good communication skills, are important for success in the role.
Formal Qualifications
Interest in technology, industry, or manufacturing
Ability to read and follow technical drawings
Ability to work 2 shifts
Driver's license category B and access to a vehicle
Fluent in Swedish, spoken and written
Meritorious
Experience from manufacturing or machine shop industry
Previous work with piece manufacturing
Experience with turning or other machine shop work
