We are looking for a machine operator / environmental worker at the Recycling Center in Varberg. In this role, you work practically with both machine operation and the daily operations of the facility. About the Job The position is a combined role where you work as both a machine operator and environmental worker. As a machine operator, you drive a wheel loader and work with: moving, loading, and compacting waste sorting materials keeping the area accessible, safe, and organized As an environmental worker, you work with the daily operations at the facility. This means you: keep the area clean and tidy pick out incorrectly sorted material and empty containers handle items such as white goods and bulky waste meet visitors, show them where to go, and help when needed The work takes place outdoors year-round and in close collaboration with your colleagues. We Are Looking for You Have training for wheel loader operation (TLP 10) and a C2 forklift operator certificate. Are comfortable taking responsibility and working practically. Are service-oriented and comfortable meeting people at work. Work well in a group and contribute to good teamwork. Have good organizational skills and enjoy maintaining a workplace. Master Swedish in speech and writing. Have good physical fitness and enjoy working outdoors in a mobile role.
