State Limited Liability Company "Paula Stradiņa Clinical University Hospital" (Registration No. 40003457109) invites applications for SENIOR NURSE in Department 39 Cardiac Surgery Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (Professional Code: 222146) Key Job Responsibilities: • Lead and coordinate daily nursing work of the Anesthesiology group in Department 39 Cardiac Surgery Anesthesiology and Intensive Care • Ensure effective personnel resource planning and work allocation according to competencies and workload • Monitor the quality, continuity and compliance of patient perioperative care with professional standards • Coordinate care processes in accordance with nursing practice guidelines, hospital quality requirements and Hospital strategic objectives • Monitor the quality of care documentation and promote process improvements • Participate in working groups, process development and implementation of new care methods • Foster positive team collaboration and support staff professional development • Actively engage in daily operational work organization and problem-solving Requirements for Candidates: • Higher professional education in nursing • Registration in the Register of Healthcare Professionals as a nurse • Desired three years of professional experience in anesthesiology or intensive care • Experience in team management or work organization will be considered an advantage • Understanding of quality management, patient safety and infection control • Ability to organize work in a dynamic environment, make decisions and set priorities • Good communication, collaboration and leadership skills • Accuracy, high sense of responsibility and professional attitude • Good digital skills and experience with medical documentation systems • Knowledge of the state language in accordance with regulatory requirements • Ability to practically engage in patient care processes and perform nursing professional duties according to competence and situation • Ability to adhere to professional ethics principles and confidentiality We Offer: • Working hours Monday to Friday from 8:00-16:00 • Stable salary (€2,200.00 Gross) and social benefits • Variable salary component (amount depends on achievement of work targets) • Support for participating in the Healthcare Professional Recruitment and Retention project to receive a one-time compensation of up to €10,701 • Health insurance after six months of work • Stable salary and social benefits • Discounts on healthcare services after one year of work • Free psycho-emotional support for Hospital employees • Responsible, dynamic and interesting work • Professional development opportunities CV and Application: To apply for the vacancy click here.
