State Social Care Center "Zemgale" is the largest state provider of long-term social care and social rehabilitation services in Latvia! WE ARE RECRUITING A GENERAL CARE NURSE at the "Ķīši" branch (for an indefinite period, 1 position, 0.5 full-time equivalent) Requirements for candidates: intermediate or higher professional education in the relevant field; registration in the medical professionals register; professional work experience of at least one year (preferred); knowledge of the operating principles and rules of use of technical equipment necessary for the work; good interpersonal and communication skills, client-oriented approach, and focus on achieving positive work results; valid electronic signature. Main duties: ensure quality monitoring of clients' health status and provide first and emergency medical care; perform physician-prescribed orders and instructions accurately and precisely; ensure receipt, storage, and use of medications, dressing materials, psychotropic, narcotic, and equivalent psychotropic medications in accordance with regulatory requirements; conduct education for clients and their relatives on health promotion and healthcare matters, etc. We offer: salary and social guarantees in accordance with state administration regulations; work experience in state administration; salary from (gross) 667 EUR - 671 EUR (for half-time); during probation period salary up to 667.5 EUR; 10% allowance for work related to special hazards; special allowances for medical professionals for work tenure up to 8% of the established monthly salary (documentation of work experience from previous employers must be submitted); health insurance after 3 months of work; summarized working time - 17.5h per week; friendly, responsive, and professional colleagues; additional leave for special hazards (3 working days per year) and additional leave for annual evaluation (from 4 - 10 working days per year).
