State Limited Liability Company "Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital" (Registration No. 40003457109) invites applications for NURSE in the Department of Cardiac Surgery 91 (profession code: 222146) Main responsibilities: • assess patients' health status, plan and provide care, and document it according to hospital procedures; • prepare patients for scheduled surgeries; • ensure patients receive medications prescribed by physicians; • perform prescribed diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prepare the environment and necessary equipment, and assist surgeons during various surgical interventions; • collaborate with personnel involved in patient treatment and care within scope of competence; • evaluate patient care processes and their outcomes, etc.; • provide emergency medical assistance when necessary. Requirements for candidates: • education in nursing; • registration in the Register of Healthcare Professionals; • previous work experience preferred; • excellent knowledge of the state language; • excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • attention to detail, high sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and as a team member; • ability to prioritize, ability to respond and act in urgent situations.
