WE ARE HIRING A GENERAL CARE NURSE at the "Ziedkalne" branch (indefinite term, 1 position, 0.5 full-time equivalent)
Requirements for candidates:
middle or higher professional education in the relevant field;
registration in the Healthcare Professionals Register;
professional work experience of at least one year (preferred);
knowledge of the operating principles of technical equipment necessary for work and rules for their use;
good interpersonal and communication skills, client-oriented approach, and focus on positive work results;
valid electronic signature.
Main responsibilities:
ensure quality monitoring of clients' health status and provide first and emergency medical aid;
carefully and accurately carry out medical prescriptions and instructions given by doctors;
ensure receipt, storage, and use of medicines, dressing materials, psychotropic, narcotic, and equivalent psychotropic medicines in accordance with regulatory requirements;
provide education to clients and their relatives on health promotion and healthcare matters, etc.
We offer:
salary and social guarantees according to what is established in the public administration;
work experience in the public sector;
salary from €667 - €671 (gross) (for part-time); during the trial period, salary up to €667.50;
10% allowance for work involving special risk;
special allowance for healthcare professionals for work seniority up to 8% of the established monthly salary (documentation of work experience from previous employers must be submitted);
health insurance after 3 months of work;
summarized working hours—17.5 hours per week;
friendly, responsive, and professional colleagues;
additional leave for special risk (3 working days per year) and additional leave for annual assessment (from 4 - 10 working days per year).
