We offer positions as specialist physicians/senior physicians in outpatient care and/or acute and 24-hour care. If you wish, you can pursue further specialization in addiction medicine within the scope of your position, thereby gaining unique specialist expertise. The addiction medicine specialization consists of a 2.5-year program and continuing education within Maria Ungdom and Beroendecentrum Stockholm. Job Responsibilities Clinical work consists largely of independent work as a specialist physician, which includes assessments, in-depth investigations, and psychiatric treatment work together with other professionals such as nurses and psychologists. Training in addiction medicine consists of clinical work in different parts of our operations and continuous continuing education based on a predetermined curriculum. You will receive ongoing supervision from our addiction medicine specialists. Type of Employment Permanent employment. Full-time 40 hours/week, daytime hours. Start date by agreement. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry. Experience in addiction care is a merit. LUS specialist assessment is applied upon employment. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Area: - background checks are applied prior to employment decisions according to SLSO's general guidelines for background checks at employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire medical examination according to current directives, which is carried out through occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional credentials, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
