We're seeking a teacher in mathematics, science, and technology for grades 7-9. The position includes mentoring a grade 7 class. You will plan, conduct, assess, and grade together with other mathematics and science/technology teachers.
Mälarhöjdens School is one of Stockholm's largest primary schools. It's a grades F-9 school with approximately 1,260 students and approximately 150 staff members. It's located near the city center with good public transportation and close to nature and Lake Mälaren. The school has high results, good finances, and many students apply to our school. Your role
* As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, evaluation, and grading in the classes/groups you teach.
* Good contact with colleagues, students, and guardians is an important part of the teaching profession.
* Teamwork skills are important as we work extensively with collaborative planning and co-assessment.
Your competence and experience
* We're looking for a certified teacher in mathematics, science (biology, chemistry, and physics), and technology for grades 7-9.
* We prefer that you have previous experience teaching.
* The position is part of a grade 7 work team with teaching in grades 7 and 9.
* Mentoring a grade 7 class together with another teacher. Experience in mentoring is preferred.
