Kunskapsskolan Saltsjöbaden is seeking a substitute teacher in mathematics and science for grades 4-6 Would you like to work at a school where each student receives something unique – a personally designed education – based on the student's individual goals and circumstances? Kunskapsskolan Saltsjöbaden is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 240 students. The school is located in a nature-close area on Observatoriebacken in Saltsjöbaden. At our school, we have satisfied students who thrive and achieve high academic results. As a substitute teacher at Kunskapsskolan, you will have two roles: you will teach your subjects and also serve as a personal mentor to approximately twenty students. You will have mentoring conversations with your students each week. You help them plan and set goals for their studies and follow up on those goals together with both the students and their guardians. At Kunskapsskolan, we practice pronounced teamwork. You are never alone with challenges and questions. We help each other plan work in subject teams and grade-level teams. There is great openness among teachers, and we share collective responsibility for our students. Qualifications We are looking for someone who holds a primary school teaching degree with certification in mathematics and science subjects. A basic requirement is that you have unhindered command of Swedish in both speech and writing. Meritorious Qualifications Previous experience working with young people and/or previous teaching experience. As a person, you are responsive, clear, and have the ability to inspire and motivate others to learn. Since you will be working together with other teachers, we also see that you have excellent collaboration skills. Position Details This is a full-time temporary position that extends through the remainder of school year 26/27 with immediate employment.
