Male Companion for Young Boy in Vällingby

We now have an assignment where we are seeking competent male companions for a case in Vällingby. About the assignment: It concerns an 11-year-old boy with diagnoses of autism and ADHD. It is important that you as a companion have knowledge and previous experience with these diagnoses, and are experienced in handling young people who have difficulties with changes/unexpected situations that can lead to acting-out behaviors. You need to provide constant supervision and oversight while the companionship is being provided. Responsibilities: As a companion with us, you provide care and social support based on the client's individual needs and wishes. Together with other staff, you work to make the client's life meaningful and enriching. As a companion, you accompany the client on various activities outside the home to relieve the parents. Days and times can vary but often include weekends. Qualifications: We are seeking someone with previous experience working with children and young people. We want you to have experience with disabilities. You have a positive attitude and a flexible, creative mindset with an ability to see possibilities. You see it as your clear responsibility to contribute to a positive work environment. You also have good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written.
