A Snapshot of Your Day Step into a significant leadership role where you lead a team within Product & Fleet Support with a focus on technical support, standardization, and long-term development of the installed fleet of mid-size gas turbines. You lead a group of specialists who work on implementing technical solutions in the fleet, standardizing spare parts and components, and developing and managing the technical documentation used for inspection and assessment of gas turbines worldwide. Your day is characterized by close collaboration with Product & Fleet Support, Maintenance, regions, service organizations, and engineering organizations. You create the conditions for your team's success by developing employees, setting clear goals, and ensuring that operations deliver with high quality. How You Will Make an Impact Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical specialists and engineers. Create engagement, clarity, and good conditions for your team's long-term development and performance. Ensure that technical solutions are implemented in a structured and efficient manner in the installed fleet. Drive the work to reduce the number of variants of spare parts and components to improve quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness. Take responsibility for developing and managing technical documentation and instructions used for inspection, assessment, and maintenance of our gas turbines. Work closely with regions, service organizations, and engineering organizations to ensure that technical requirements and insights are translated into practical and usable solutions. Contribute to continuous improvements in working methods, processes, and standards within Product & Fleet Support. Ensure that operations deliver according to established goals regarding quality, safety, delivery accuracy, and economics. What You Bring A degree in mechanical engineering from a university or higher technical education institution, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent experience. Experience from technical work in product development, service, maintenance, technical support, or similar operations. Strong ability to create structure and drive activities forward in collaboration with others. Strong collaboration skills and a genuine interest in developing people and teams. Good communication skills and the ability to build trust across many different contact points. Ability to balance short-term operational needs with long-term improvement initiatives. A solution-oriented approach and a strong focus on quality and long-term sustainable results. Previous experience in personnel management is a merit. About the Team You will become part of Installed Fleet Engineering, an organization focused on maximizing the value of Siemens Energy's installed gas turbine fleet through technical expertise, innovation, and customer focus. The team is responsible for implementing and supporting technical solutions in the fleet, standardizing parts and spare parts, and developing the technical documentation used for inspection, assessment, and maintenance of our products. Through close collaboration with regions, service organizations, and product organizations, the team contributes to increased reliability, higher quality, and improved competitiveness for the installed fleet.
