We warmly welcome your application! Your role as Meal Assistant with us As a Meal Assistant at Älvsåkers Preschool, you work in a receiving kitchen. You are responsible for preparing breakfast, snacks, and preparing side dishes for lunch. You ensure that meals are both delicious and inviting. Your responsibilities: preparation of side dishes and meal preparation receiving goods and quality control handling special diets and allergy accommodations dishes, cleaning, and good food hygiene collaboration with educators for a safe and positive mealtime environment Your profile As a person, you are thorough and enjoy working independently, while also finding it easy to collaborate when needed. You are flexible and responsible, with a solution-oriented approach that allows you to take initiative and find ways forward even when challenges arise. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has: work experience from a kitchen, commercial kitchen, or similar operation good knowledge of food hygiene and special diets It is a merit if you have: previous work experience from a preschool or school kitchen Learn more about us Älvsåkers Preschool is located in Älvsåker, 7 kilometers from Kungsbacka city center.
