The State Institute for Special Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individualized compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial problems and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also carries out closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse throughout the country. With us at SiS, your working life will be an exciting challenge. SiS LVM Home Hessleby, located in a beautiful forest setting just outside Mariannelund, receives men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We have special expertise in receiving clients with mental health issues or disruptive behavior. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs.
Job Description
Do you want to be part of creating vital change for vulnerable people? Then the job as treatment coordinator at SiS is meaningful work. The starting point in our treatment work is to motivate people toward new and less destructive ways of living. You will work in a team of dedicated colleagues, and with your combined expertise, you have the opportunity to achieve good results. As a treatment coordinator, you will plan, implement, and follow up on program activities. You conduct treatment conversations and have special responsibility for documentation and the forms and instruments used in treatment. An important shared task for all employees is to help create a safe environment and ensure that security at the institution is maintained according to procedures. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied.

Qualifications
Your personal suitability is key to vital change. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a well-founded positive view of people, are empathetic, and can build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have a good ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues. In your role as treatment coordinator, you will have individual responsibility for several initiatives in the treatment plan as well as responsibility in the department that requires experience and ability to coordinate that work. You need to be good at planning and structuring your work, be able to work independently, and take your own initiative. Since treatment work is documented and discussed with various stakeholders, high demands are placed on good Swedish in both speech and writing.
You must also have:
Relevant higher education, for example social worker, social pedagogue, or other health/behavioral science education, or alternatively post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogue, with substantial experience in program activities.
Experience conducting motivation and treatment work individually and/or in groups.
Good Swedish in speech and writing.
Class B driver's license

Employment:
The positions are permanent full-time employment and begin with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
