We are now seeking a Solutions Architect who wants to contribute to the development of the agency's common business support and IT capabilities. About the job We work in an agile environment inspired by SAFe, where working methods and approaches are adapted to business needs. We deliver our assignments through the delivery organization, and you will become part of the cross-functional value stream Support Delivery, which is responsible for solutions and services that strengthen the agency's internal operations and efficiency. The value stream is in a build-up phase, which means you will have an important role in shaping and further developing how architecture work is conducted. Here there is an opportunity to influence working methods, structures, and architectural capabilities that should support the agency's long-term development. As a Solutions Architect, you ensure that the agency's IT solutions are sustainable, scalable, and fit for purpose. You work at the intersection of business and technology, translating business needs into well-thought-out and manageable solution proposals. You work at strategic, tactical, and operational levels and have a holistic perspective that contributes to long-term quality, coherence, and development of the agency's IT landscape. Since the value stream encompasses a large number of COTS products, contributing to procurement work and associated evaluations of vendors and solutions is part of the role. You collaborate closely with product owners, Business Owners, Enterprise Architects, train architects, delivery teams, and train organizations. The role includes: Contributing to the development of the agency's common business support in areas such as finance, HR, procurement, records management, and security. Designing and defining solution architecture in a complex and business-critical IT landscape. Ensuring that solutions comply with target architecture, architectural principles, and common guidelines. Translating business requirements into sustainable and feasible technical solutions. Collaborating with Enterprise Architects and other architecture roles to create a cohesive whole across system and business domains. Supporting and coaching teams on architecture questions, technical decisions, and design choices. Contributing to standardization, reuse, and continuous improvement of architecture work and working methods. Participating in roadmap work and strategic initiatives linked to IT and business development. Identifying and analyzing risks, dependencies, and opportunities from an architecture perspective. Organizationally, you belong to the IT Department and the Government-wide IT Unit. The unit is responsible for IT solutions and services that support the agency's internal operations and contribute to employees having efficient, secure, and user-friendly tools in their daily work. We are looking for someone who has: 180 hp (120 p according to the previous system) in Systems Science, alternatively a degree as a higher technical engineer or Civil Engineer in relevant areas, or equivalent competence/experience that the employer deems equivalent Several years of current experience working as a Solutions Architect in complex IT environments or in a corresponding architecture role. Experience translating business needs into sustainable and manageable IT solutions. Experience with the Public Procurement Act (LOU), procurement, and vendor management Experience with integration solutions in cross-system architecture. Experience with agile working methods and frameworks such as SAFe. Very good ability to communicate and present complex relationships clearly and pedagogically in Swedish in speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have: Experience in solution design in standards-based systems (COTS or SaaS solutions). Experience in public sector operations, particularly working in structured and rule-driven environments Experience from work in one or more of the following business areas: finance, HR, procurement, records management, and security. Good understanding of architectural principles, target architecture, and governance models (including governance) Certification or training in architecture, such as TOGAF or equivalent. Experience with planning, case management, and collaboration tools such as Atlassian's product suite (Jira, JSM, Confluence) Experience with tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect We offer A government assignment that truly matters!
