Jurek is now seeking a salary consultant for a consulting assignment with our client in central Uppsala. The assignment starts in October and runs initially through December 2026, with good opportunities for extension. The client is embarking on an exciting development journey with a focus on digitalization, process improvement, and future payroll support. About the role
As a salary consultant, you will be responsible together with your colleagues for ensuring correct salary payments and providing qualified support in payroll-related matters. You work broadly within the payroll process and have an important role in supporting managers and operations with questions related to salary, collective agreements, and regulations.
Your tasks include, among other things:
• Working with the entire payroll process from registration to quality assurance
• Ensuring compliance with laws, collective agreements, and regulations
• Providing advice and support to managers on salary-related matters
• Handling support via phone, email, and digital channels
• Collaborating with authorities and other external parties
• Participating in development and improvement work within payroll and HR processes
• Contributing to projects related to operations development and digitalization
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with education in payroll from YH/KY or equivalent. You have good system skills and feel comfortable with Office 365, particularly Excel. It is meritorious if you have experience with Heroma. Furthermore, you have excellent ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
We would like to see that you have:
• Experience in payroll work in larger organizations
• Experience from service-oriented roles or support functions
• Experience with payroll, scheduling, or staffing systems
• Experience from the public sector or other complex operations
