About the Pastorate Office The Pastorate office is an important support function for all our activities. Here are several employees working with member services and booking, finance/procurement, communication, personnel matters, IT/telephony, and facilities. Our mission is to provide support to members, elected representatives, congregations and administration, so they can focus on their core activities. All office staff also work in various roles in a Service Bureau where we provide support to other congregations within the Swedish Church. About the Position The Södertälje Pastorate is seeking a payroll administrator to support our managers with payroll management and related administration. The payroll administrator is part of our office and is a natural part of both managing and developing our operations. We are looking for someone who is organized, communicative and has a genuine interest in payroll matters. Responsibilities As a payroll administrator you will be an important addition to our organization where you will have clear responsibilities to facilitate payroll management. Main responsibilities: Interpret collective agreements, laws and internal guidelines. Support managers on payroll-related matters, such as schedule changes, payroll documentation and benefits management. Support related processes such as employee onboarding, handling employment matters and other payroll documentation, preparing documentation and certificates and updating personnel records. Collaborate with HR and other functions to create a sustainable work environment. Contact person with our supplier Swedish Church Payroll Services. Actively participate in development and improvement work within the payroll area, including digitalization and smarter working methods. Qualifications Post-secondary vocational education in payroll Experience working with payroll administration (minimum two years) Required experience working in the systems Medvind and Visma HR plus 8 Good knowledge of labor law, agreements, laws and application within payroll Technically proficient with strong skills in Microsoft 365 Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing Good understanding of data protection regulations and how it applies within the area Analytical ability, integrity and a systematic approach to work Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with high integrity and the ability to handle sensitive tasks in a responsible and professional manner. You work in a structured and systematic way with focus on quality and accuracy. You are service-oriented and enjoy supporting managers and employees. We are looking for someone with good analytical ability who can identify deviations, draw conclusions and see connections. You have good collaboration skills while taking personal responsibility for your tasks. You enjoy working in a team and appreciate order and structure, while you are happy to contribute ideas to develop our working methods. Merits Experience with pension matters Experience with payroll work in the Swedish Church or other politically governed or non-profit activities Additional language skills are advantageous Other Information Start date by agreement.
