Come and join our fantastic team and help us create a clean and pleasant environment. About Us The Campus Division at Örebro University has the primary mission of offering students, staff, and the university's various operations support and service in all areas related to our facilities. The university's operations are growing continuously and well-being in our facilities is important to us, so we place great emphasis on maintaining a pleasant and clean environment. The facility services unit is part of the Campus Division and manages the majority of the university's facility services in-house with approximately 30 employees. The unit operates as a modern facility services organization with a focus on environment and quality. Job Responsibilities The work includes all tasks related to daily cleaning of the university's facilities, including common areas, offices, and study halls. Within the unit, we work in teams with shared responsibility for cleaning, which creates better quality and more ergonomic variation. The responsibilities also include deep cleaning and floor care. Window cleaning may occur, as well as holiday cleaning when needed. Qualifications We are looking for someone with previous work experience in facility services who has knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and machinery. Previous work experience from an environment similar to a university is a merit. Experience in floor care and window cleaning is also desirable. We place great importance on personal suitability and are looking for someone with a positive attitude who sees opportunities in the work. The ability to take own responsibility and own initiative in your daily work are important qualities for us. We work to maintain good cooperation and work climate in our team, so we value good teamwork skills. Since the work takes place near students, employees, and visitors, we place great emphasis on you having a trustworthy manner and a sense of service. We expect you to be flexible and able to contribute to changes. Since the work can be physically demanding, you should be mobile and in good physical condition. We offer all new employees introductory training so that you feel confident in your new role.
