About the job
As a facilities cleaner, you and your colleagues play an important role in ensuring the overall experience in our facilities. Together, you will create an environment that conveys a safe, attractive, modern, and sustainable workplace for our employees and all students.
You will primarily work with cleaning but may also perform other tasks such as refilling water/coffee machines, etc.
Your background
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, responsive, responsible, and takes initiative. Your ability to collaborate is excellent, your social competence is high, and you enjoy working in a team while also being able to work independently.
SLU is a workplace with many different nationalities, so a requirement is that you can communicate well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
Requirements:
Secondary education
Experience in professional facilities maintenance or other service work
B driver's license
Swedish (spoken & written)
English (spoken & written)
About us
The Infrastructure Department, Infra, is part of central operations support at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
Infra is tasked with providing cost-effective, tailored, and well-functioning service services both locally at our main locations in Umeå, Uppsala, and Alnarp where we are represented, as well as contributing to service development for all of SLU.
Overall, the department also handles facilities provision issues and rent administration, and provides guidance and competence support in environmental and safety matters. We and our employees are expected to actively contribute to the university's development through engagement and initiative. Infra has approximately 120 employees and an annual turnover of around 110 MSEK.
