Starting: 25/5/2026 ISMM Group, a Czech group of seven companies operating primarily in mechanical engineering, as well as in construction, catering, hospitality, and sports, is expanding its team. For ISMM & PressMetal, which has been engaged in serial production of formed and welded parts, with headquarters and manufacturing facility in Třinec, we are looking for suitable and ambitious candidates for the position: "PRESS OPERATOR, SETUP TECHNICIAN" What does the job involve? - preparation for pressing and operation of CNC press machines, coil changes, first-piece release and in-process inspection according to pre-defined specifications - production of parts in required quantity and quality - routine daily machine maintenance - reading and use of technical documentation - after training: tool change and adjustment on presses (simple and progressive) and production startup - finding technically appropriate solutions - inspection of assigned machines and tools. What would we appreciate? - apprenticeship certificate or high school diploma in mechanical engineering - experience in pressing and metalworking preferred - knowledge of operating both conventional and CNC presses preferred - knowledge of reading technical and engineering drawings - independence, work ethic, precision, thoroughness, flexibility, manual dexterity - forklift certification preferred; experience in mechanical engineering and automation preferred.
